𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐚 𝐬𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 ?

In the chaos of everyday life, we all need to have the ability to still our mind and keep it unaffected from the outside world and our own thoughts that keep bothering us.

This can be achieved through the practice of 𝘥𝘩𝘺𝘢𝘢𝘯, that is concentration.

It is only by concentration that true meditation is possible.

When the state of meditation is achieved, our small worries and petty thoughts are resolved. We gain clarity and vision of not only how to live better but also to tackle all the problems that we have.

To achieve 𝘥𝘩𝘺𝘢𝘢𝘯, we have to just let go and become aware by focusing on the 'here and now', 'all yet nothing' and by becoming slightly more aware of each and every feeling and sensation of our mind and body; we can achieve great relaxation and rest.

This brings us respite and relief from the mental conditions and conditioning that we all tend to suffer from, to a lesser or a greater extent.

As we spare certain moments for ourselves and deepen our practice, we also gradually come to realize that the goals of human existence are achievable for each of us.

These are the zen moments of our lives to gain clarity and also live life as it is meant to be.

It is preferable that the daily routine is set and the same practice is done at the same time everyday for better results.

It is like a medicine. A soul medicine so as to avoid all other medicines. You follow a particular regime of 𝘥𝘩𝘺𝘢𝘢𝘯 every day just like you would for medicines if you get sick.

This medicine of 𝘥𝘩𝘺𝘢𝘢𝘯 which culminates in true medicine rids us of mental diseases of unnecessary worries, high expectations, disappointments, victimhood and repetition of negative memories.

In the Buddha tradition and philosophy, this is also called 'taming the monkey mind'. And also when a mind is trained, it works wonders and its great potential is released.

A trained mind automatically focuses on possibilities, is high on creativity so as to deal with life's challenges and provides us with answers and solutions.

As the saying goes, we can't expect to solve a problem from the same frame of mind that created that problem in the first place. To enter into a solution, we need a different frame of mind than the one which saw the problem.

We need a calm, serene, absorbed and focused state of mind and not one which doubts its own abilities and lacks direction.

Only through gaining clarity by various practices and 𝘥𝘩𝘺𝘢𝘢𝘯, can such clarity arise in a chaotic world that can bother and at times, overwhelm us with its outside noises and influences.

We find ourselves giving true responses to the various challenges in life rather than becoming reactionary and mechanical.

We also reach our authentic self.
